Our Fee Model
Normandy Living strives to make retirement simple and enjoyable for its residents. This is why Normandy offers a wide range of amenities and services under a single fee. Based on our mission and values, we have designed a model that is inclusive of the basics anyone will need as well as additional services to ensure our residents enjoy a vibrant, independent lifestyle.
What is included in our fee:

Rent for the suite
Pricing for this varies by the type of suite you select. We have studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom suites. Each suite is fully accessible and includes a 3 piece washroom, and kitchenette (with a mini refrigerator). Most rooms also have access to a private balcony or patio. Each suite has its own HVAC with controls in suite, ensuring each resident’s comfort in their home.
All utilities including heat, water and electricity are included in the fee

Full meal services
Breakfast, lunch and dinner served primarily in our Dining room, with flexibility for residents to choose their dining space (common areas or their suite). There is also the possibility for residents to get 4 days complimentary room service during illness.
Also available will be the all day self-serve hospitality & refreshment area.

Social and Recreational Program
Run by our on-site recreation manager, Normandy offers a full socio-recreational program to all residents. Where common interests among residents are identified and the desire to participate exists, a program can readily be developed by our Recreation Manger, meaning this program is designed specifically for our residents.
Residents will receive a full calendar and newsletter outlining unlimited access to lifestyle and socio-recreational activities as scheduled.

Security and Emergency Features
24/7 Security monitoring service.
Fire safety systems in residential suites including: smoke detectors, sprinklers, heat sensors, 24-hour monitoring system, automatic exterior suite door closure, fire alarm bell/horn. There is also emergency lighting in common areas.

Communication and entertainment services
A telephone is available in each suite and residents will have access to internet throughout Normandy as well as cable television services in their suite. Cable television will also be available to residents in the common areas.

Access to common areas throughout the building
All residents have access to all common areas including the dining room, courtyard, exercise room, multi-purpose lounges, community social area and laundry rooms.

Transportation
Transportation for personal and group trips such as shopping, appointments or recreational outings as scheduled.

Mail
Each suite has a personal mail box with their own key.
Concierge services are also available at reception.

Housekeeping
Scheduled, weekly housekeeping for each suite includes vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of bathrooms, kitchenette, floors, interior windows, change of linens and all laundry.
Residents have the option to do their own personal laundry (linens and towels will still be done as part of the weekly cleaning) in the available laundry rooms on each floor.

Maintenance
Reasonable repairs and maintenance of appliances and fixtures installed by Normandy in suites and throughout the building.
Landscaping and snow removal will also be managed by Normandy Living.

On-site management and non-medical monitoring
On-site management of Normandy which is accessible to residents.
Residents will also be a part of a community and have Normandy staff aware of their wellbeing and presence.

Access to additional on site services
Residents have access to the on-site salon, as well as visiting foot care specialists etc.
